Farewell, 2024: A Year of Bold Leaps, Big Dreams, and Incredible Growth
As 2024 comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on this year with immense gratitude and a heart full of pride. This has been a year of transformation, of stepping out of comfort zones, and of embracing opportunities that once seemed like distant dreams. For me, it has been a year of saying yes to the things that bring me joy and taking bold leaps into the unknown—and I am overwhelmed by the beauty of what has unfolded as a result.
At the start of this year, I carried a vision in my heart: to fully embrace my calling to empower women to share their stories, step onto stages with confidence, and make an impact in the world. Today, as I look back, I am in awe of how far I have come—not just professionally, but personally, as a woman who dared to chase her dreams.
Here are five milestones that made 2024 a year I will never forget:
1. Taking the Leap to Full-Time Entrepreneurship
In one of the scariest yet most exhilarating decisions of my life, I left my corporate job to pursue my business full-time. Walking away from the stability of a paycheck and benefits to step into the unknown required every ounce of courage I had—but I have never felt more aligned with my purpose. Every step of this journey has been a reminder that trusting yourself is the first step to achieving your dreams.
2. Becoming a Best-Selling Published Author
This year, I became a published author, contributing my story to the book Taking the Leap: From Employee or Executive to Female Founder. To say this was a dream come true is an understatement. Not only did the book become a best-seller within 24 hours of its release, but it also gave me the opportunity to connect with other extraordinary women who, like me, dared to take the leap into entrepreneurship. I also got to experience the process of writing a book without being responsible for the entire thing. Now I can get to work on my full-length book with the goal to publish it in 2025!
3. Expanding "The Confidence Catalyst" into New States
The Confidence Catalyst, one of my signature programs/events, grew beyond Oregon and into other states this year, reaching even more women ready to conquer their fear of public speaking, share their stories, and step into their power. Watching this program grow and witnessing the transformations of the women who have participated has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I am so grateful for my partner and mentor on this event, Rukshana Triem, as she let me take the reins and run with it, quietly supporting me from behind the scenes!
4. Creating and Launching My First Digital Course
I have had a vision of launching an online course since 2019. This year, my first digital course, Start Your Story in 7 Days was written, recorded, promoted, and sold within 48 hours leading up to black Friday. Designed for women who are ready to share their stories but do not know where to start, this course has already begun to change lives. Seeing my work available to women everywhere—accessible at their own pace—has been incredible.
5. Being Featured in the Media
I was recently featured in multiple media outlets included Digital Journal and Women’s Journal. Being able to use these platforms to spread the word about my business was an amazing opportunity. I was also featured on regional online outlets for ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and other media platforms! I am excited to continue growing my online presence and reaching more of the women who need my help.
This year has been filled with many moments of doubt, monumental growth, and many triumphs. I have learned to trust the process (and myself), lean into the discomfort of the unknown, and celebrate even the smallest victories along the way.
But more than anything, 2024 has been about the women I serve. Watching them take their own bold steps—whether on stage, in business, or in their personal lives—has been the greatest gift. They remind me every day why I made the choice to do what I do.
As we prepare to welcome 2025, I want to leave you with this: If there is something tugging at your heart, a dream that will not go away no matter how much you try to ignore it—take the leap. Say yes to yourself. Trust that you grow your wings as you fall and take flight when the time is right!
